Warm Winter Campaign in Northern Syria
Over the past years, the Ma’an Association has launched the Warm Winter Campaign annually in northern Syria to provide essential support to displaced and needy families in camps and affected areas. The campaign aims to help families face the harsh winter cold, particularly given the difficult conditions experienced by displaced people in camps, where many lack heating and basic necessities.
Campaign Objectives:
- Providing Warmth:
Supplying blankets, winter clothing, and heavy coats to families, especially children and the elderly, who are most vulnerable to the cold. - Enhancing Heating Resources:
Distributing coal, firewood, and heaters to families living in tents or shelters not equipped to withstand extreme weather conditions.
Target Groups:
- Displaced families residing in camps.
- Families who have lost their homes due to the conflict.
- Widows and orphans.
- Elderly people and patients.
